IDC Quarterly
Published four times per year, the IDC Quarterly is a scholarly journal providing in-depth analysis of important case law and legal trends. The Quarterly is distributed to all IDC members, judges and members of the Illinois General Assembly and United States Congress.
The IDC Quarterly is written by members with special expertise in a practice area or with a particular issue of law. Current members of the IDC are encouraged to submit articles, columns, Monographs, letters to editor, etc. to the IDC office for possible inclusion in a future issue of the IDC Quarterly.
Please note that manuscripts must be in article form. Click here to view manuscript guidelines and here to view an article preparation checklist. No compensation is made for articles published, and no article will be considered that has been submitted simultaneously to another publication or published by any other publication. All articles submitted may be subjected to editing and become the property of the IDC Quarterly, unless special arrangements are made. If you have an idea for an article that you would like published in the IDC Quarterly, you are encouraged to contact the IDC office to discuss the concept prior to beginning your project.
Monographs
Contained within each issue of the IDC Quarterly is an extensive analysis of a current legal issue. Topics included in recent Monographs include Civil Practice & Procedure, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Insurance Law, Medical Liability, Municipal Law, Professional Liability, and Workers Compensation.
Subscriptions
Though subscription is provided with IDC membership, individual subscriptions are also available for non-members. Please click here to sign up for a subscription to the IDC Quarterly.
Become an Author
All members of the IDC are encouraged to submit articles for the IDC Quarterly. If you have suggestions for an article, please contact the IDC office at idc@iadtc.org.
